Description
RGPL managed a number of projects related to modifications and upgrades at Sydney’s largest water treatment plant. At 1500 ML/d capacity, Prospect WFP is the largest direct filtration plant in the world and services over 80% of Sydney’s water demand, drawing raw water multiple sources: the Warragamba reservoir; a series of small dams via the Upper Canal; and Prospect Reservoir.
Role
Under contract to Degremont, RGPL managed the preliminary design and costing, detailed design, tendering and contracts management, implementation, commissioning and proving of modifications to a number of systems, which were completed in early 2010.
